The Tenuta di Monte Lagello is nestled on a green hill-top overlooking the sloping hills scattered with olive trees and holm-oaks. The estate covers and area of 40 hectares of which 25 hectares of woodland and 4 hectares of olive trees which produce an excellent organic olive oil, D.O.P., the remaining 11 hectares of sowing land are used for the production of local cereals, organically grown.
The whole complex, composed of a 17th century tower and farm-house, has been restructured according to the most modern conservation techniques respecting the original architecture.
In this peaceful place nature lovers can admire, along the old paths leading through the woods, the flight of the migrating birds and other wild animals such as the squirrel, boar, porcupine etc.
For lovers of the excellent Umbrian cuisine, one will find in the nearby towns numerous typical restaurants offering famous traditional dishes based on natural products coming from the rich and fertile land of good wine and esteemed olive oil.
